About us

Active Talk Limited was formed in December 2001 and opened a learning centre in the heart of Norwich in February 2002. Since then we have grown to become a key provider of learning in Norfolk. Apart from our centre in Norwich, we also have a learning centre in Cromer, North Norfolk. Our delivery is focused around supported self-paced e-learning, the majority of which is delivered over the Internet and is therefore accessible remotely as well as in our learning centres.

Our training product range encompasses Information Technology, Business & Management and Skills for Life. We provide training to individuals, businesses of all sizes and industry sector, and to government bodies. We have contracts with a number of organisations which include the University for Industry,[Ufi] (as a learndirect provider - in receipt of funding from the Learning and Skills Council [LSC]) and with Jobcentre Plus. Our access to Government funding via Ufi and therefore the LSC, requires that we maintain a high quality of delivery and we are subject to inspection by Ofsted and, furthermore, regularly subject to Government audit by KPMG Plc.

Our integrity is evidenced by the fact that we are accredited to deliver and administer examinations for Thompson Prometric, on-screen testing for OCR, on-screen testing and GCSE for Pearson Edexcel, ECDL testing for the British Computer Society and the examinations of the Chartered Institute of Banking in Scotland. As well as specific contracts we are an Intermediary Provider to Jobcentre Plus who refer individuals to us for the provision of learning assessment, qualification and learning delivery.
